Physical Description:

Grant’s Zebras grow to be about 6ft to 8ft long and 4ft to 4.5ft tall and generally weigh about 650 lbs. The Zebras live in family groups of up to 18 led by a single stallion.



Reproduction:

Females give birth to a single foal per breeding season.
Gestation period last 365 days (12 months).



Native Range Land:

Grant's Zebras range includes Ethiopia, Somalia to Northern South Africa. More Grant’s Zebras are in the wild than any other species or subspecies of Zebras. Unlike Grévy Zebras and Mountain Zebras, they are not endangered.
