Physical Description:
Adult Springbok are A slender, medium-sized antelope with a distinctive white face, dark brown stripe along each side, and tan/cinnamon-colored back. They have a white belly and a unique white fold of skin on the back that can rise during excitement—called pronk or pronking, where it leaps stiff-legged into the air. Adults typically weigh 60–100 lbs (27–48 kg).
Reproduction:
Females give birth to a one fawn, occasionally twins per breeding season.
Gestation period can last 5–6 months.
Native Range Land:
The Sprngbok is native to southern Africa, especially - South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and parts of southwestern Angola.
